A slip-on flange, also known as an SO flange, is a widely used pipe flange designed to slide over the outside diameter of a pipe before being welded in position. Compared with weld neck flanges, slip-on flanges offer easier installation, lower fabrication costs, and excellent performance for low to medium-pressure piping systems.
