A flanged rising stem globe valve is a linear motion valve designed for regulating and isolating fluid flow in industrial piping systems. The valve uses a globe-shaped body and a movable disc that moves perpendicular to the valve seat, allowing accurate throttling and reliable shut-off.
The rising stem design allows operators to easily identify the valve position. When the valve is opened, the stem rises above the valve body; when closed, the stem moves downward. This design provides clear visual indication and helps prevent incorrect operation.
